Aint that the truth, Ned. That was fun to read. Made me remember lots of
good things, too. I can remember, believe it or not, the ice truck that
came around. Our milk is still delivered at the door. I slept upstairs in
a finished off attic with no heat except for a grate in the floor to let the
rising heat come upstairs. It didn't help so we slept with hot water
bottles at our feet during the winter months and loads of heavy blankets.
Our TV was black and white. I loved being alive then, though. Thanks for
posting it.
