Hi Colin,

Thanks for your comments.  I'm kind of in the boonies out here so 50 watts would really be a good thing.  Also, thanks for the comments on the audio of the 
two radios.  If the v7 isn't made anymore then that probably really does point things to the g707.  

I have a th-f6a here so I know all about eating the mic.  <grin>
