Generally, these small devices have a "reset to factory condition"
procedure. There's a small hole in the back, often somewhere near the power
connector. You disconnect the power, insert the end of a straightened
paperclip into the little hole to depress a microswitch, and hold it there
while you reconnect the power and wait for up to 30 seconds.
Now you can re-do the configuration from scratch, avoiding whatever
misstep scambled things the first time around.
