Hello,
I am running win 98SE presently and until I needed to do a reinstall due
to a couple of nasties my teenage son downloaded by accident, I was able
to open a folder viewed as a web page and at the side it would say "
Select an item to view it's description". When an item was selected,
windows would generate a preview as a thumbnail if it was a gif or jpg,
or tell me the size and origin date of a doc or other file.
How can I get this facility back? I have tried everything I could think
of including installing quickview from the windows o/s, but that only
opens things in a new window.
Thank you
Anne Smith
