Hi listmates!  I need info on Venice in short order - my husband just
surprised me with a trip - we leave in less than a week!
 
I already have a restaurant card in Italian, and I know about getting
food in the pharmacies.  I specifically need restaurant recommendations,
or particular food shops in Venice.  We may take a few day trips in
Northern Italy, so dining suggestions in Verona, Florence or the
Dolomites would also be welcome.
