the lack of touristy was what i what i liked about the
big island. i really wanted to do Kauai, but the boss
wanted Maui. if we go again we'll get Kauai. and i am
thinking this could be our other stop on the way back,
but, we may be dead tired.
i did revisit the Arizona on all visits. and in two of
the 3 we went to the Polynesian culture center. both
times on the big island we rented a house right on the
water. was volcanic rock not beach. we drove over to
kona, on ouhu we got quite tired of the hula and grass
skirts.
the last time we were there we found some
restlessness bubbling under the surface about
suceeding from the u.s. and you thought only us johnny
rebs had thought of that. yankee go home, but, please
leave your money.
anyway Mag, enjoy yourself. and if you have not been
since 9-11 be prepared to be searched at all
interisland airports as every out of stater seems to
get pulled out for "random search."
