The one at Hagan Street is called Our Lady of Assumption- the main church for the Roman Catholics, whilst the one next to Quadrangle/ Maccarthy Square is St Mary''s Church- the main church for the Anglicans.
Yes these churches are the main ones in the city because its CELEBRANT on FEAST DAYS is normally officiated by a BISHOP.

Folks,
Can someone help me with the official names of these two churches in
Banjul. The church on former Hagan St next St Augustines Junior and the
one next to former MacCarthy Square and The Quadrangle. Also can someone
confirm if these are the main Catholic and Methodist churches in the City?
Thanks
Malanding
