Hi Ron,
I have two of these both ham 4 rotors.
They are just fine. They have a direction indicator which you turn to the
direction, hit the start and a tone sounds as the rotor tunrs. Once it has
reached the desired direction it stops and locks the rotor again.
No you cannot take a regular ham 4 and put it into place with the control
box. The rotor has a couple of parts different in it so it will work with
