Colin,
Thanks for your help. I have ordered a mast with tripod and guywires. 
Thanks to all who had suggestions for me in the thread "antenna problem"
I will go "nomail" on this list for a while and come back tolet you all 
know how I'm doing. As I have said, I have too much traffice to tolerate 
the additional 50 messages a day here.
