Hi all, I just have to jump into this can of worms! GRIN! I didn't
start out as a novice, though I should have! I certainly could have pass
the 5 WPM without any problems, but for some reason, the elmer who was
supposed to give a bunch of us our code tests, fell ill, or something!
Do you remember that Steve? I got my original call, WB8LDU as a senior
in high School and was a Technician for ten years or so until I got my
general in 81 and then my advanced in 83. I think if they drop the code,
they should somehow make applicants show a knowlidge of the code, if not
the ability to send or recieve it!
