I'd have no idea but the info is on Kenwood's site and they can probably
tell you if you call them. Stay far from Kenwood's supposed repair place in
VA though, nothing good has ever come from there with people I know who've
sent stuff in there.

Hi, John!  No, didn't turn that on, because my Yaesu picked up the
carrier.  Looks like I'll have to send it back.  Out of warranty, how
much do you think it might cost?--Matt.

P.S.  K8SP sent me the Kenwood service center address for East Coast,
but deleted it.  Do you happen to have it?
