Thanks John, and all the others who answered my posting.  I don't think
there is a reset button on my machine.  I do think the lithium battery is
gone, so it wouldn't reset, anyway.

I called Freedom Scientific and put in an order for a reconditioned machine.
They are out of stock, so I'll just have to wait, unless someone has a
better suggestion.
