oops, should have looked at who that was supposed to go to,  once again, a 
problem that arises from stuff like that.

if you use jaws there is a script right in jaws for that, you just have =
to assign the key for it but if you go to the keyboard manager I think, =
it's there, with newer versions anyway. I just can't stand that it can't =
make up it's mind if the replies go to the sender or the list so you =
have to check all the time, no other list is like that. They're either 1 =
way or the other.

  Well, it would be nice that if you see a post on a list that you would =
reply to private to be able to do so without all that cutting and =
pasting.  I was told there was a utility that allowed one to reply to =
the poster rather than the list, but I never heard anything about it.
