Yeh i would put the cable company and utility company to blame for those
problems...there is absolutely no reason why VHF/UHF should get into any
electronics unless there are extremely bad grounds and unshielded cables
leading to the various peaces of equipment that are getting the
interpherence.
Its audio rectification that is the problem and most certainly not the fault
of the amateur equipment or station thats for sure.
and if people are out dated enough to still be using 49MHZ cordless phones,
then i suppose if they get RFI its their own fault for not buying a digital
2.4GB or 5GB phone which will get absolutely no RFI guaranteed.
