Howard,

Yes, I had the same problem. Sandy and I are both blind. All three of our
children see normally. Thirteen years ago, when my first son got his
driver's license at age sixteen, I found myself facing that same problem. I
eventually discovered, at that time, Farmers Group took on teenage primary
drivers. Everyone else wanted about 350 dollars a month for a 500 year old
Honda, grin, that I spend only 2200 dollars for. Farmers covered us for 120
dollars and then for about 30 dollars more, we got full coverage.
Fortunately, all my kids are grown and married and have their own cars now
so I am finally out of the car business, which, of course, included repairs,
gas, oil, and a whole lot of other things that I don't miss. Odd, too, they
all drive much nicer cars than we did, haw. I have no idea if Farmers still
does this but I later discovered the Progressive had better coverage for
less money and switched and saved a considerable amount of money.

Phil.
