Hi everyone, I have had to take my Pro-96 in for servicing because of a
bad antenna connection and loose connector and possibly a bad solder
joint. When I took it in this morning I mentioned to the sales person at
my Radio Shack that I was having a lot of trouble with the Detroit
simulcast digital system that requires a firmware upgrade in order to be
monitored with no drops in the transmissions or anything like that. The
sales person told me taht I didn't have the upgrade, and they are giong to
upgrade it when it is in the shop, but a few months back I tried upgrading
the firmware from home, and I got a message telling me that I had what I
needed, and today come to find out I don't. Has anyone else had this
problem before with a false message like that? I had been told also that
once the
firmware update was in people have been able to monitor this system with
no problem.
