Hi,
I started with a g-5rv. I used it for a year or so then it got destroyed in
last summer's hurricanes. I have since been using a b and w hung in the
same configuration and height as the g-5rv was. The b and w is much quieter
and I have gotten better signal reports all over the place. No way to
really know how much better because the bands are not the same of course
but...

My tuner is much happier with the b and w too.

73, Steve, N4OFL
