does the newer model do crossband repeat? That's what I'm interested
in with these. Computer programmable isn't as important to me as
this. OTherwise I'd just as soon buy the used v7a.
Btw when we're talking Kenwood, anybody used the d700 handhelds? tHey
use the same battery packs as my thg-71a I know for sure and I'm going
to be hunting a new handheld soon. wOuld like to stay with something
sues my same battery packs but friendly to program. tHe 700 does all
this aprs stuff which I have no interest in which is why I'm asking.
