I remembered that I had gone into what I think is the video card, something
about intel something driver to disable hot keys.  I also remembered that
while looking for hot keys I had heard rotation.  I found that again and
discovered that 90 degrees was checked.  There were three other settings,
normal, 180, and 270.  I moved to normal and applied and okayed.  And voila,
my screen is normal once again according to my neighbor who is the one that
saw that it was sideways.
