I would just like to add a word of caution to those using soy based
formulas. My oldest daughter ( 14 years old) was taken off soy, 3 years
ago, due to discovered allergy. She promptly began experiencing the
symptoms of menopause. The estrogen like hormones from soy can apparently
mess with the system pretty badly.

Just thought I'd put that in. We were a very soy based family, due to many
allergies, and have begun to wean ourselves off it. My younger daughter has
always had dark circles, even though she has no dairy in her diet. Cutting
soy for a week made them disappear. Still trying to find a way to have a
diverse diet, without soy.
