Unfortunately, I don't have a dummy load here, but I'm going to
try the 746 on the same antenna that I get good results with when
using the Icom 718.  The feedline is new, and is much shorter
than the feedlines on my tower that I use for the antennas for
the 746.

Will also try to borrow a dummy load from someone around here.

Will keep you posted.

Hi Tom:

Try putting the Icom 746 on a dumby load through the talking
meter and see
how much power it shows then.
The coax may well make the difference.
