Many celiacs were once "diagnosed" with chronic fatigue syndrome or it's twin cousin fibromyalgia. The fact that these maladies are diagnoses of exclusion tells me they don't have much concrete substance to commend them as recognizable processes. It is my untrained, unschooled (but heavily researched on an amateur's level) opinion that these may denote an autoimmune disease as yet undetectable, or in the case of celiacs, unlooked for. Therefore, I have to wonder if this new study in the AJM on the efficacy of the drug methylphenidate on concentration problems in patients with chronic fatigue syndrome might be of benefit to those of us with lingering problems or trouble with concentration due to another autoimmune disease (in my case, Graves'). This study shows some marked benefit, the abstract says. I got this in an email from AMJ Plus.

If you can't get in, you may have to sign up for the publication, which is free. I'd be glad to cut and paste it and email it to an interested part.

Can somebody with some tech know-how look at this and tell me what these chart figures mean? I will summarize.
