This is the E-mails I sent to Rose and Goff. I am anxious to hear if anyone
receives a reply to their E-mails. The more I think about this, the more I
realize the damage that is done by such thoughtless acts.
I normally do not get involved in things like this, but the Celiac community
took a real blow with the publishing of Talk to the Hand by Lynne Truss.
I was diagnosed with Celiac Disease at the age of 49 and have had to be on
the diet for about a year and a half. Boring story, but an awful reality. It
is so wonderful when people understand and such a slap in the face when they
are ugly about it. Compassion and understanding are so necessary when a person
has been sick, then trying to recover and make life as normal as possible.
Didn't see that in Lynne Truss. I hope she is embarrassed of herself, and if she
isn't, well...that says so much!
