 Listserv etiquette is a hard item to define for the diverse membership of
 any Internet group.  Recent traffic has shown an increase in traffic
 appropriate for individual replies but forwarded to the entire list.

 Each message sent to the Listserv should be evaluated for its
 appropriateness to the entire membership.  ``Junk mail'' in a mailbox
 can cause perceived problems for the reader.  Several of these concerns
 are:

      Costs associated with the transmission of each message.
      Slow modems.
      Limited storage space for messages.
      Limited time for reviewing messages

 Writers may desire to add a comment to the end of the messages stating
 that individual replies can be addressed to the writer at their email
 address.

 The reader may desire to pause before using the REPLY function of their
 mail reader.  Instead of replying, use the new message function and send
 in to the writer.  If an appropriate message is returned to the writer,
 it may then be useful to copy this message and transmit it as an
 additional reply to the original message.

 When in doubt, send it the whole list because the purpose of the list is
 to learn from everyone's experiences.
