Hi,
I've been having a problem with my new PC build for about a month now. When I first built it, I installed Windows Vista as a test operating system to ensure that everything worked correctly, which it did. The problem came when I tried to downgrade to Windows XP for my parents. After formatting the hard drive and copying over most of the files (random files on the CD have problems copying each time I try to format/install) I get a blue screen with a hardware error. These are also seemingly random, I've gotten things from incompatible video drivers to bad boot sector errors. This is my second hard drive, because the first, after installing Vista, would not even format after a while of this. If anyone could offer assistance, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you.
