That does help.
I, too, find myself eating less; less meat as well as less overall. I spoke
to three nutrionists in the airport shuttle as we were all on our way to our
respective conferences and they said the lower food consumption overall
probably led to the lowered b/p.

Lynn, I have lost 75 pounds and kept it off. I ate LC for two years and I
have been eating mainly paleo for the past 8.5 years.

In the beginning I ate tons of meat - it filled me up, made me feel good and
I seemed to need it. I probably ate two pounds or so of meat a day. Over
time I ate less meat. Now I listen to my body and try to eat accordingly.
It took years for me to be able to do this, coming from lowfat, low calorie
starvation eating where I ignored my body's cries for nutrition.

Too much fruit in the beginning may cause cravings. Even now I eat a lot
more vegetables than fruits.

Don't feel like you must eat certain foods at breakfast because our culture
says so. Eat what makes your body and mind work well. I usually eat meat
and vegetables for breakfast. Sometimes I eat fruit instead of veggies. I
am not crazy about eggs, and I eat them maybe once a week.

PAT - my blood pressure was always normal so paleo did not change it much.

Hope this helps!
Paula H.
