Well considering the trail of events from Georgia, to Pennsylvania, back to
Georgia, Ben's health, college, leaving a daughter back home, your friend's
daughter's issues, finances in the midst of all that and all the calls and
contacts that need to happen to make all that possible or stay afloat it is
understandable. I'm not sure if one of the stress relievers listed in
Kathy's post was this or not, but scheduling daily time to do something you
like, be it read, play with flowers, play an instrument, or whatever it
might be that strikes your fancy, for you maybe it is writing poetry, it is
prudent and not frivolous, selfish, or expendable. It is, in the end,
a necessity to make it a point to schedule that down time and reward
yourself for putting in your time in life. This serves as a pressure
release and prevents resentments, feeling tired even feeling used or
unappreciated. From a family member's stand point we appreciate it cause
"If mama ain't happy? Ain't anyone happy" lol. Actually that goes for
others besides mama. Many times we think we can't because there's so much
to do in a day, but spending time doing what you like to do is no more
expendable than paying bills, or making those calls and if you schedule it,
the other stuff will get done even though it might not seem like it.
