Rhonda,

I really like that poem. It talks about the true meaning of Christmas and
that we can keep a little christmas in our hearts every day.

Keep writing those poems and sharing them with us!

Subject: Keep the Joy

> Pack away the ornaments,
> Pack away the tree,
> Pack away the angel that shines on top,
> For everyone to see,
> Pack away the tinsel,
> Pack away the bowes,
> Put away the strings of lights just where they should go,
> But keep the joy of Christmas,
> Keep the love,
> Keep the meaning of emanuel, God with us,
> Pack away,
> The cards that friends sent,
> Pack away the lists you wrote,
> And all the tings you meant,
> To get time for,
> But keep the good will,
> This world is a loveless place,
> Pack away,
> The Christmas dishes,
> The special recipes,
> Pack away the pictures,
> And treasured memories,
> But remember the greatest gift,
> When God became love,
> And give some away to others
> You meet each day.
> Pack all the Christmas things away,
> But leave out the gratitude that comes
> From having been given the most wonderful gift of all,
