Went to see a new neurologist yesterday, who did a very thorough work-up,
and has ordered an MRI to see if there's anything new going on inside the
ol' cranium. Probably a great idea, in light of this research, and the fact
I'm experiencing decreased function. For the first time in 46 years, I
heard what type of CP I've got - spastic diplegic, overlayed with left
hemiplegia. He also said that the effects of CP and brain injury do tend to
become more difficult to manage as people get older, and had research to
back it up.
