If you don't eat meat, do you allow other animal products? Eggs, fish, fowl,
nuts? If not, milk products? If not milk, how about beans.

Milk and beans are not really paleo, but kind of second best substitutes for
those who can't eat meat.

Paleo is hard without meat products. There have been a few vegetarians on
this list. Try the archives, search for Amadeus Schmidt, a guy who posted a
lot here a few years ago.
