Hello Anchorage Celiacs!

Please tune in to Line 1, Your Health Connection, Monday, November 14 at
2pm, when Thad Woodard interviews Dr. Michelle Pietzak and local Celiac and
Celiac mom Alison Smith. Dr. Pietzak, Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at
the University of Southern California Keck School of Medicine, will be
speaking about the medical aspects of Celiac. I'll be there to give the
patient's and parent's perspective. This is a call-in program and the
number is given at the beginning of the show. The program is taped and
repeats at 7pm that evening. Please call in with your questions or
concerns!

Also please mark your calendar: the next Anchorage Gluten Intolerance Group
meeting is Wednesday, November 30, at 7pm at Alaska Regional Hospital, Ivy
Room II (ground floor--enter from west parking lot). Topics: Gluten-Free
Holiday Cooking, GF Products Available in Anchorage, Support Group Goals,
and Committees. Please try to bring about 10 copies of your favorite GF
holiday recipe(s).

Thanks, and hope to see you on the 30th.
