We just returned from a vacation of sightseeing in Washington, D.C. We
had a terrific time and were pleasantly surprised to find a cafe at the
National Museum of the American (at 4th and Independence Ave SW) that had a
variety of healthy food, including some prepared dishes that were labeled
'Gluten Free': Quail and Maple glazed turkey.
There are several stations in the Mitsitam Cafe, representing the Native
American foods of different regions of the country. I didn't get a good
look at the other stations; there may have been other gf dishes. Fresh
fruit and salads were available, also.
