There was just a call in show on Channel 5 here in NYC dealing with that death of a young girl after kissing her boyfriend who had just eaten a pb sandwich.

The md was asked why there are so many allergies now.  He blamed it on the use of SOY products.  Tests have shown a correlation, he said.

I know that tests have shown that consuming soy frequently leads to premature brain death {check archives}

Perhaps this plays a part in gluten reactions as well. [although I must admit I never did eat soy and still got celiac]
