This message is In reply to a posting by Richard Paul about his rather
negative response to a restaurant card.
I bought a set of Triumph Dining Cards -- Mexican, Thai, Indian, Japanese,
Chinese and American/Spanish
cuisine.
I used one when I went to investigate a Thai restaurant for our GF Gourmet
Club. The person I met with thought they were very helpful. One side of
the laminated card has the information in English; the other is in Thai. It
has ingredients to avoid; those to check out (for example, spring roll
wrappers, marinades like satay, and packaged stocks, etc.; and those foods
or ingredients we can eat. It also mentions preparation tips, i.e.
cleanliness and contamination issues. Visit www.triumphdining.com. I have
no financial interest in this company.
