Just got caught up reading the pinhead digests;
had been several weeks behind for a couple of years.

Here's a good preservation quote.
It's from a responsive reading in "the" prayer book.

----------
Minister: Cursed is he that removeth his neighbor's land-mark.
Answer:  Amen.
----------

 From the Anglican Book of Common Prayer.
(But not found in the Episcopal one.)

It's in the section called "A Commination."
(The word means "A recital of Divine threatenings against sinners.")
There are ten such curses; this is No. 2.

I am indebted to my colleague A. O. L. Atkin,
of Oak Park, formerly of Durham (Northeast of England),
who loaned me his prayer book.

Seems appropriate to hand this around
in the wake of that item from the UK
about replacing historic buildings with virtual replicas.
