Hello Fellow List-ers!

I have a Jetta Jetbook 7700 laptop, with Windows XP.
Probably, no one has ever heard of this brand, but I
am hoping that it is something Windows-specific. It
does have an "Fn" key like I have seen on Dell and
Toshiba laptops, however I am unable to find the
"other key," if such a combination even exists to
disable the built-in mouse. I am using an external USB
mouse. When I use this mouse, it does not override the
built-in touch-pad mouse. I cannot seem to disable the
built-in from Device Manager, nor in Mouse Properties
in the Control Panel. If I use a regular PS/2 mouse,
it automatically overrides the built-in mouse.

The other thing is there is no option for either the
mouse nor for the keyboard to "Allow this device to
bring the Computer out of Stand-by," which I did see
on my daughter's XP computer. Even though this option
is missing, my keyboard will still bring the PC out of standby.
