I have had some difficulties with swallowing which have increased the
last few months.  In the last 3 wks. I have actually choked to the point
of needing the Heimlich maneuver....very scary.  Today my doctor ordered
a barium swallow to check my throat and swallowing capacity.  He put
down a diagnosis of dysphagia.  My question is regarding the barium
liquid itself.  Has anyone had any experience with this?  Are there
different brands of the liquid, and do you know of any GF ones?  I'd
like to know before I call and make the appointment.  Many thanks to
