Dear Listmates -
Two listmates emailed and suggested using a toaster oven
instead of a toaster. That solves the problem of little slices
slipping down inside a regular toaster, or crumbling down into
the toaster where you can' get them out.

Great idea! Thank you to everyone who replied. I will get a
toaster oven this weekend. The kind with 2 shelves was suggested.
We have Target and Wal Mart near here, so I'll go shopping.
