I called a certain very popular gluten free food catalog that makes and
carries many yummy gluten free items. I asked the representative if items that I
haven't tried before were good. The representative told me, "I don't HAVE TO
eat this stuff". So, she couldn't tell me if the items were good or not.
Well, as a matter of fact, I don't actually have to eat "this stuff" either. I
purchase it for a family member that is celiac and we all eat it.......... I
still know if something is good or not............. Know, I understand that the
representative may not have tried every item in the catalog, but that would
be a better way to state it. I told the representative that I found that kinda
offensive. (Like it's okay to eat nasty stuff if you're celiac) I asked to
speak with a supervisor and really did not get any further with my point. They
said taste is relative. Yes, it is, but that's a better way to state it. This
is the second time I have gotten that response from this company when
inquiring about the taste of new items.
Anyway, where do you purchase mail order gluten free foods?
