Hello everyone,

Has anyone been to or know anything about staying GF in Morocco?

I will be travelling there on 3 September and am wondering if any has any GF
information that might be helpful. I have searched the archives and found
nothing except 2 requests for information.

I don't need general travel tips as I've
done quite a bit of GF travelling, but I would appreciate any info that
might be helpful for travel in Morocco, e.g. what dishes are likely to be
safe and what to avoid etc.

In particular, does anyone know about the little noodle-type additions to
rice that crop up in Middle Eastern/Northern African Arabic cuisine?
Someone said they are made from lentils not wheat but when I went to Egypt,
I wasn't sure and tried to avoid them. I had a hard time getting plain rice
as they seemed to be the norm. I'm concerned that this might happen in
Morocco too.

Any info will be very much appreciated.

Best GF wishes,
Liz Ward, Dublin, Ireland
