My question was this:
It seems many drug manufacturers now say that they will not guarantee a
product is gf. They might say something like it's not formulated to have
gluten but they can't guarantee their suppliers.
It seems to me that this is to prevent liability but that it's likely to
be gf.
Does anyone have an opinion on that?
I received about 10 replies, almost everyone felt that if a drug says
this the product is in fact likely to be gf but they are protecting
themselves from liability. A couple of people said unless the co.
confirms the product is gf they would not take it.
This would be a good issue for one of the Gluten Assoc.s to address.
