Hi Tim and all on vicug-l as well,
I'm very frustrated here, very frustrated here!
I'm trying to get jaws for windows 7.10 to work with omnipage SE.
Folks, I am sooooooooooooooo frustrated, and I don't want to pay $1000 for openbook or Kurzweil, and I don't want my clients I'm helping to have to pay for it, when I've ben told by who knows how many folks that I can do this.
Now, one article from accessworld told me to save stuff scanned to the clipboard, so I did that.
I read 2 articles and a tutorial telling me how to config omnipage to work with screen readers, and I followed those steps.
Now I don't know what I'm doing wrong here, but as one who helps people all the time over the phone or via email with step by step instructions, I want and need someone to do the same for me who can do this process.
I have no reading software, but have a scanner, a Cannon.
No folks, if I can learn how to do this step by step, then, I can send this to vicug-l and you all can forward this process to all the blind email lists in the world.
Wouldn't it be great to be able to use screen readers and omnipage and not have to spend another $1000?
Harry
