hi list
i finally got the correct information about the lg 4500 and the lg 6100

the lady in the store told me that they both were based on the same chip
sets and had the same speech output features.

i bought the 6100 because she said it had better signal reception but i
was not able to access any of the menus.

i thought i was doing something wrong and i finally got to talk to a tech
at verizon

the 4500 has much more access to menus and information than any of the
other phones, so no matter how cute the sales person is, don't believe
them if they tell you the phones are the same.
