Hello All:

I think I know the answer to this question, but I'm going to ask anyway.
I was talking to a gentleman who got a computer from his niece. When it
boots up, it asks for an administrator's password; Administrator is the
only user name shown that he can enter. He said that he was given a
password by his niece, but that this password doesn't work. He's tried
typing it in in several different ways, with various mixes of lower and
upper case letters and it doesn't work.

My question is, is there a way that I can get him into Windows around
this password block? I think the answer is no short of re-installing
Windows, but that's pretty drastic and if there's another solution out
there I'd like to know.

Thanks in advance for your help.
