I'm looking to purchase a laptop for music recording. Currently I have all type of latency issues when using soft
synths on my current lap top. A Toshiba repair person told me that what I wanted was a lap top that had it's own
video card and memory so that there is no sharing of resouces.

Can some one elaborate on this?

Also can some one refer me to sites that discuss lap top video cards currently on the market?
