My cousin found this website advertised on some list he's on and I've been
playing with it for days. Go to it and click on the audio. It's:
www.phonetrips.com. It's a site dedicated to the workings of the telephone
from the early sixties and up. The only thing annoying is all those links
are dot ram and dot ra configurations. Sometimes I take some of these and
refeed them and resave them as MP3's. Some of this is interesting stuff for
any that remember the old step and step and cross bar switching systems and
the usage of multy frequency tones and the good and bad uses of which. It's
a pretty good site, take a look.
