It might also be handy for you to either have him install, or for you to
install yourself, a mono earbud jack across the piezo/speaker in the qsyer,
so you can mute the beeps and still hear them yourself.  The little thing
will drive a little earphone nicely, if it is anywhere near the number of
ohms the piezo is rated at.  You may not need it at all, but it can be a
nice touch for "stealth/while everyone's asleep cw operation."  Danny.
