the only complaint i have heard from D700 owners and operators is that the
cross band repeat audio is pretty horrid, in that its low and kind of
distorted.
Also, the transmit audio is slightly low, but this can be easily fixed by
hooking up a PS2 cable with a couple pins shorted to access the service menu
and increase the deviation a bit...i mean, it really is quite low, not just
a little.
Very similar to the TM V7A in that respect.
Other then that, its APRS capabilities, and general usefulness is really
good.
