TM-V7A is discontinued, the TM-h707A is still listed in catalogs. Not sure
about the TM-V708 which replaced the V7A if it's any better or not but some
complain about there being no computer programmability with it though I
think it may be added down the road or something, that's what I'm hearing
anyway. I don't know anyone who has one yet though so we'll see.

Subject: tmv7a

Hi everyone;
I haven't been keeping up with the latest kenwood happenings. Has the tmv7A
been discontinued? If so, what replaced it? Any better? Am I correct that
the 707a is still available? I am using a tmv7a and sometimes wish I had
stayed with the seemingly simpler more accessible 707. I'm really waiting
for a uhf vhf radio that gives me easy menu info. I'm not holding my breath
though.
