I just came from Whole Foods in San Antonio, after admiring the shelf full
of Gluten Free Bakehouse Products. Our store will be carrying the full
line, but since they just got the first shipment last night, it may take a
little time to determine the stock that will be necessary. If you don't see
what you are looking for, ask Ruth or Selma iin the bakery department to
check in the back for you.
If you come into the store throught the cafe door, walk straight ahead, past
the ready to eat cooler. It is presently at the front end of the juice
shelves, on the edge of the bakery. The packages are sealed before they
leave the Bakehouse in North Carolina, so there should not be a
cross-contamination issue.
There will not be open packages for sampling because other WF shoppers will
not realize the complications that cross contamination will cause for
celiacs. They told me they have had a lot of phone calls asking about
these products. They are here now, so go by and check it out.
We will probably be arranging for a store tour before long. Enjoy!
